What's in a name?

I'm no political scientist or media guru, but as I see it, this whole Mulroney-Schreiber Inquiry can go two ways in the press.

1. It gets called, "The Mulroney Inquiry"

2. It gets called, "The Schreiber Inquiry"

If I was a Conservative or Liberal spinner, I'd be out there hustling and thinking up some way to brand this thing with my preferred choice...right now.

That's exactly what I thought! Anyone under 36 has no clue what this Mulroney thingy is, and anyone over 36 knows that the PC's died and are now a totally different party. Too bad the Liberals can't say the same thing.

It appears that the public aren't as dumb as the Liberals think they are, 66% don't think this has anything to do with the NEW Conservatives.
